9 And the angel said¹ to me, “Write this: ^eBlessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, ^f“These are the true words of God.” 10 Then ^gI fell down at his feet to worship him, ^hbut he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to ⁱthe testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

8 I, ^rJohn, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, ^sI fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 ^sbut he said to me, “You must not do that!
