1 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, ^owith ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and ^pblasphemous names on its heads.

5 And the beast was given ^xa mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for ^yforty-two months.

6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,¹ that is, those who dwell in heaven.

9 They were scorched by the fierce heat, and ^hthey cursed¹ the name of God who had power over these plagues. ⁱThey did not repent ^jand give him glory.

11 and cursed ^mthe God of heaven for their pain and ⁿsores. ^oThey did not repent of their deeds.

21 And ^sgreat hailstones, about one hundred pounds¹ each, fell from heaven on people; and ^tthey cursed God for ^uthe plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

3 And ^che carried me away in the Spirit ^dinto a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on ^ea scarlet beast that was full of ^fblasphemous names, and ^git had seven heads and ten horns.
