20 ⁿ“Whoever sacrifices to any god, other than the Lord alone, shall be devoted to destruction.¹

23 If you do mistreat them, and they ^qcry out to me, I will surely ^rhear their cry,

28 ^w“You shall not revile God, nor ^wcurse a ruler of your people.

31 ^a“You shall be consecrated to me. Therefore ^byou shall not eat any flesh that is torn by beasts in the field; ^cyou shall throw it to the dogs.

24 For I will ^kcast out nations before you and ^lenlarge your borders; ^mno one shall covet your land, when you go up to appear before the Lord your God three times in the year.
