a haunt ^rfor every unclean spirit,

a haunt ^sfor every unclean bird,

a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.

9  And behold, here come riders,

horsemen in pairs!”

^hand all the carved images of her gods

he has shattered to the ground.”

8  ^aSuddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken;

^bwail for her!

^cTake balm for her pain;

perhaps she may be healed.
