1  ^sThe Lord reigns; ^tlet the peoples tremble!

He ^usits enthroned upon the cherubim; ^vlet the earth quake!

2  The Lord is ^wgreat in Zion;

he is ^xexalted over all the peoples.

3  Let them praise your ^ygreat and awesome name!

^zHoly is he!

4  ^aThe King in his might ^bloves justice.¹

You have established equity;

you have executed justice

and righteousness in Jacob.

5  ^cExalt the Lord our God;

^dworship at his ^efootstool!

^zHoly is he!

23  ⁱBy myself I have sworn;

from my mouth has gone out in ^jrighteousness

a word that shall not return:

^k‘To me every knee shall bow,

every tongue shall swear allegiance.’¹

2  ^zand if you swear, ‘As the Lord lives,’

in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,

then ^anations shall bless themselves in him,

^band in him shall they glory.”
