^mreprove a wise man, and he will love you.

25  ^qStrike ^ra scoffer, and the simple will ^slearn prudence;

^treprove a man of understanding, and he will gain knowledge.

12  Like ^za gold ring or an ornament of gold

is a wise reprover to ^aa listening ear.

6  Faithful are ^dthe wounds of a friend;

profuse are the kisses of an enemy.

5  It is ^lbetter for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise

than to hear the song of fools.
