2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so hthe Lord surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore.
5 And I will be to her ua wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”
27 The eternal God is your tdwelling place,1
and underneath are the everlasting arms.2
And he thrust out the enemy before you
and said, ‘Destroy.’
7 xThe angel of the Lord yencamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8 The Lord will keep
your fgoing out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.
5 Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies qa cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be ra canopy.
12 gThe kings of the earth did not believe,
nor any of the inhabitants of the world,
that foe or enemy could enter
the gates of Jerusalem.
28 oI give them eternal life, and pthey will never perish, and qno one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, rwho has given them to me,1 sis greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of tthe Father’s hand.
