11  for they ^whad rebelled against the words of God,

and ^xspurned the counsel of the Most High.

40  How often they ^trebelled against him in the wilderness

and ^ugrieved him in ^vthe desert!

10  ^yBut they rebelled

^zand grieved his Holy Spirit;

therefore he turned to be their enemy,

and himself fought against them.
