22 And ^mthey were astonished at his teaching, ^mfor he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.

2 And ^don the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and ^emany who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands?

26 And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him,¹ “Then who can be saved?”

18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it and ^fwere seeking a way to destroy him, for they feared him, because ^gall the crowd was astonished at his teaching.
