Leviticus 9:3

And say to the people of Israel, uTake a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old without blemish, for a burnt offering,


Leviticus 9:7

Then Moses said to Aaron, Draw near to the altar and xoffer your sin offering and your burnt offering and ymake atonement for yourself and for the people, and bring the offering of the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.


Hebrews 2:17

17 Therefore he had nto be made like his brothers in every respect, oso that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest pin the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.


Hebrews 5:3

Because of this he is obligated to offer sacrifice for his own sins ojust as he does for those of the people.
