15 lAnd every person who eats what dies of itself or what is torn by beasts, mwhether he is a native or a sojourner, nshall wash his clothes and obathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.
8 lHe shall not eat what dies of itself or is torn by beasts, and so make himself unclean by it: I am the Lord.’

31 cThe priests shall not eat of danything, whether bird or beast, that has died of itself or is torn by wild animals.
