Punishments for Sexual Immorality

10 “If a ^bman commits adultery with the wife of¹ his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

38 ^cAnd I will judge you ^das women who commit adultery and ^eshed blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

40 ^kThey shall bring up a crowd against you, ^land they shall stone you and cut you to pieces with their swords.

45 But righteous men ^bshall pass judgment on them with the sentence of adulteresses, and with the sentence of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is on their hands.”

47 ^fAnd the host shall stone them and cut them down with their swords. ^gThey shall kill their sons and their daughters, and ^hburn up their houses.

5 Now ^din the Law, Moses commanded us ^eto stone such women. So what do you say?”
