6 ^fSo I took hold of my concubine and cut her in pieces and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel, for they have committed abomination and ^goutrage in Israel.

7 The sons of Jacob had come in from the field as soon as they heard of it, and the men were indignant and ⁱvery angry, because he ^jhad done an outrageous thing in Israel by lying with Jacob’s daughter, ^kfor such a thing must not be done.

21 then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father’s house, and ^bthe men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has ^cdone an outrageous thing in Israel by whoring in her father’s house. ^dSo you shall purge the evil from your midst.

12 She answered him, “No, my brother, do not violate¹ me, for ^bsuch a thing is not done in Israel; do not do this ^coutrageous thing.

15 ^rAnd he who is taken with the devoted things shall be burned with fire, he and all that he has, because he has ^stransgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he has done ^tan outrageous thing in Israel.’”
