7 If ^eyou abide in me, and my words abide in you, ^fask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 ^gBy this my Father is glorified, that you ^hbear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, ^qdoes not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching ^qhas both the Father and the Son.
