31 then whatever1 comes out from the doors of my house to meet me when I return in peace from the Ammonites hshall be the Lord’s, and iI will offer it2 up for a burnt offering.

For your servant zvowed a vow awhile I lived at Geshur in Aram, saying, If the Lord will indeed bring me back to Jerusalem, then I will offer worship to2 the Lord. The king said to him, bGo in peace. So he arose and went to Hebron.
