12  For you shall not ^ygo out in haste,

and you shall not go in flight,

^zfor the Lord will go before you,

^aand the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

8  ⁿThen shall your light break forth like the dawn,

^oand your healing shall spring up speedily;

^pyour righteousness shall go before you;

^qthe glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
