34 you shall say, ^m‘Your servants have been keepers of livestock ⁿfrom our youth even until now, both we and our fathers,’ in order that you may dwell ^oin the land of Goshen, for every shepherd is ^pan abomination to the Egyptians.”

26 But Moses said, “It would not be right to do so, for the offerings we shall sacrifice to the Lord our God are an ^jabomination to the Egyptians. If we sacrifice offerings ^jabominable to the Egyptians before their eyes, will they not stone us?
