Genesis 46:2–4

And God spoke to Israel iin visions of the night and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here I am. Then he said, I am God, jthe God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will kmake you into a great nation. I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also lbring you up again, and mJoseph’s hand shall close your eyes.


Jeremiah 1:6–8

Then I said, Ah, Lord God! Behold, lI do not know how to speak, mfor I am only a youth. But the Lord said to me,

Do not say, I am only a youth;

for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,

and nwhatever I command you, you shall speak.

oDo not be afraid of them,

pfor I am with you to deliver you,

declares the Lord.


John 6:19–20

19 When they had rowed about three or four miles,1 they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. 20 cBut he said to them, It is I; do not be afraid.


Acts 18:9–10

And the Lord said to Paul lone night in ma vision, nDo not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, 10 nfor I am with you, and ono one will attack you to harm you, for pI have many in this city who are my people.
