7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, ^v“To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

7 And he said to him, “I am the Lord who ^kbrought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans ^lto give you this land to possess.”

18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, ^y“To your offspring I give¹ this land, from ^zthe river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, 19 the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”

2 And the Lord appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; dwell ^xin the land of which I shall tell you. 3 ^ySojourn in this land, and ^zI will be with you and will bless you, for ^ato you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish ^bthe oath that I swore to Abraham your father.

12 ^rThe land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to your offspring after you.”
