The Altar

13 “These are the measurements of ^cthe altar by cubits (the cubit being ^da cubit and a handbreadth):¹ its base shall be one cubit high² and one cubit broad, with a rim of one span³ around its edge. And this shall be the height of the altar:

29 ^eAnd he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the ^fgrain offering, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

35 so that on you may come all ^ethe righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous ^fAbel to the blood of ^gZechariah the son of Barachiah,¹ whom you murdered between ^hthe sanctuary and ⁱthe altar.
