17 And they will lraise a lamentation over you and say to you,
“‘How you have perished,
you who were inhabited from the seas,
O city renowned,
mwho was mighty on the sea;
she and her inhabitants nimposed their terror
on all her inhabitants!
32 In their wailing they yraise a lamentation for you
and lament over you:
z‘Who is like Tyre,
like one destroyed in the midst of the sea?
12 z“Son of man, araise a lamentation over bthe king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord God:
“You were the signet of perfection,1
2 f“Son of man, graise a lamentation over hPharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:
“You consider yourself ia lion of the nations,
but you are like ja dragon kin the seas;
lyou burst forth in your rivers,
trouble the waters with your feet,
and foul their rivers.
Seek the Lord and Live
1 Hear this word that I ktake up over you in lamentation, O house of Israel:
29 f“‘Cut off your hair and cast it away;
raise a lamentation on gthe bare heights,
for the Lord has rejected and forsaken
the generation of his wrath.’
