Exodus 17:14–16

14 Then the Lord said to Moses, Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of gJoshua, that kI will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. 15 And Moses lbuilt an altar and called the name of it, The Lord Is My Banner, 16 saying, A hand upon the throne1 of the Lord! kThe Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.


Exodus 24:3–4

Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and xall the rules.1 And all the people answered with one voice and said, yAll the words that the Lord has spoken we will do. And zMoses wrote down all the words of the Lord. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve apillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.


Exodus 24:7

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, xAll that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.
