9 And the Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, hit is a stiff-necked people.
6 “Know, therefore, that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are ga stubborn people.
16 Circumcise therefore qthe foreskin of your heart, and be no longer rstubborn.
14 But they would not listen, pbut were stubborn, as their fathers had been, who did not believe in the Lord their God.
16 “But they and our fathers eacted presumptuously and stiffened their neck and did not obey your commandments.
29 bAnd you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet ithey acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, jwhich if a person does them, he shall live by them, kand they turned a stubborn shoulder land stiffened their neck and would not obey.
26 vYet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, abut stiffened their neck. bThey did worse than their fathers.
23 Yet fthey did not listen or incline their ear, gbut stiffened their neck, that they hmight not hear and receive instruction.
51 d“You stiff-necked people, euncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. fAs your fathers did, so do you.
