17 Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord,^{1 p}make your face to shine upon ^qyour sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 ^rO my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see ^sour desolations, and ^tthe city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. ^uDelay not, ^vfor your own sake, O my God, because ^tyour city and ^wyour people are called by your name.”

8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

13 ^zWhatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that ^athe Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 ^zIf you ask me¹ anything in my name, I will do it.

23 ^oIn that day you will ^pask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, ^qwhatever you ask of the Father in my name, ^rhe will give it to you.

13 For ^t“everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

6 But ^mlet him ask in faith, ⁿwith no doubting, for the one who doubts is like ^oa wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
