3 Uzziah was ^esixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.

2 He built Eloth and restored it to Judah, after the king slept with his fathers.

2 He reigned for three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom. 3 And he walked in all the sins that his father did before him, and ^xhis heart was not wholly true to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father.

Isaiah’s Vision of the Lord

1 In the year that ^sKing Uzziah died I ^tsaw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train¹ of his robe filled the temple.

1 The word of the Lord that came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, ^ain the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of ^bJeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

1 The words of Amos, who was among the ^ashepherds¹ of ^bTekoa, which he saw concerning Israel ^cin the days of ^dUzziah king of Judah and in the days of ^eJeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years² before ^fthe earthquake.

5 And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from ⁱthe earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.¹
