1 Kings 8:39–40

39 then hear in heaven your dwelling place and forgive and act and render to each whose heart you know, according to all his ways (dfor you, you only, know the hearts of all the children of mankind), 40 that they may fear you eall the days that they live in the land that you gave to our fathers.


Jeremiah 33:8–9

aI will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, band I will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me. cAnd this city1 shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall dfear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.
